We drove three and half hours Friday to pick up our oldest son Joe aka GI Joe and a "Battle Buddy" for the weekend, and then we headed another hour to the woods!
~ GI JOE and Justin Lee ~
He was so happy to see his big brother!
We were fortunate enough to have family that lived an hour away from base to put us up for the weekend. They were such troopers for letting us crash there the whole weekend =0) THANKS!!!!!
We managed to find spots for all of us.
Joe made himself right at home ~ ahhhh the magic music can have on the soul.
Saturday morning was beautiful, so after breakfast we headed outside to play.
Gabe made Aunt B a flower <3
This was my morning view. Just beautiful and the hospitality was way more than we could of asked for =0)
My Oldest son Joe and I
We decided it was way to nice out to sit around so we took the boys on a nice long walk.
Jaxon wanted to catch up with everyone else and left me behind yelling " Run Run Mom"
He caught up with Big Brother Joe
Nate carried this rock most of the walk
Gabey found a shiny one
Everyone was on the hunt for the perfect rock
even the big boys...
I couldn't pass up this family photo op
This was the coolest tree!
I looked back and they were all holding hands <3
It sure was awesome opportunity to get to spend the weekend with Joe!
All three of the little guys were getting tired.
Gabe didn't bring his coat along, but Mommy had a spare for him to wrap up in .
So we headed back to play some ball.
We kept telling Jaxon to stay away from the barbed wire, but he had to learn why on his own...
and guess what, he got stuck trying to go under so Army guys to the rescue
safe again and lesson learned (the hard way)
A beautiful end to the day.
